By properly separating paper and cardboard, glass, plastics, metal, wood, textiles, and organic waste, these materials can be recycled, ensuring that their valuable raw materials remain in the cycle.
The high recycling rate is the positive result of a wide range of measures. These include, among other things, optimized plastic separation in production, the installation of additional yellow bins, and color-coded collection points and recycling stations in the production halls and office buildings. The purchase of water-saving paper towel dispensers and ongoing employee awareness campaigns also contribute to this success. Compared to the previous year, for example, an additional 12,480 liters of packaging material was separated via the yellow bins, and 2.7 metric tons of plastic was separated from residual waste.
The goal is to continue improving the recycling rate together in the future. To this end, a new central recycling center was built on the company grounds this past spring.
