This is the first Böcker crane ever purchased by Marsden Crane Services. The AK 37/4000 truck crane features an extension length of 35 m and an optional 2 m extension for a maximum length of 37 m. It can handle its maximum 4,000 kg payload at a radius of 5 m, 1,000 kg at 14 m or 250 kg at 28 m.
Features include a fully hydraulically extendible jib, wireless color remote control with automatic levelling, and fully variable positioning of every individual outrigger. The AK 37/4000 was also supplied with a PK 250-D personnel basket with +/- 30° side to side rotation and a maximum capacity of two people or 250 kg at maximum working height of 30.5 m. Mounted on a compact 2-axle 8.8 t carrier giving the possibility to place the crane in small footprint on site. The crane was supplied in Marsden’s custom livery including rims and sign writing.
