The Böcker truck crane AK 37/4000 PLC sets new standards among aluminium-steel hybrid truck cranes up to 7.49 t gross vehicle weight. Having a maximum payload of four tons as well as extensions lengths up to 37 m this crane is perfectly suitable even for challenging tasks during the daily work on a construction site. No matter if heavy pallets with bituminous felt or even grit containers have to be lifted, there are numerous fields of application thanks to the solid design of this crane.
Due to outstanding lateral working ranges the truck crane AK 37/4000 PLC easily lifts loads even to the rear side of the roof. The sophisticated PLC Control ensures that even enormous loads can be transported exactly and safely to the respective place of destination. Each of the four telescopic outriggers can be controlled separately so that the crane can be ideally adapted to the situation on-site. Hereby, the PLC control continuously monitors the position of each single outrigger and shares automatically the maximum working range subject to the present charge. As a result the Böcker truck crane AK 37/4000 PLC provides maximum safety as well as an ideal utilization of the maximum working range even under extremely challenging circumstances. The new radio control with full colour display and optional camera technology also ensures an easy and safe use of all crane functions.
Sustainable drive technology
The AK 37/4000 is optionally available as a hybrid crane with an additional electric motor. Particularly in densely populated areas, the low-emission and quiet operation provides excellent advantages. The 400 V drive works as powerfully as usual with an output of 13 kW. Thanks to the adjustable fuse protection, the crane utilises the maximum available current at the construction site at any moment. In order to minimise the energy intake, a sustainable stop-and-go-automatic device limits the energy consumption of the hybrid crane. The control system registers movement requirements activating the electric motor only when required. During idle times and waiting times, the automatic system saves valuable resources. With the eReady kit, the truck crane can be prepared for a subsequent retrofit of the eDrive.
If there is no power supply on-site, the hybrid truck crane can optionally be operated via the power-take-off of the truck engine. This is where the latest engine technology with exhaust gas cleaning and AdBlue injection is used. In addition, all Böcker cranes use exclusively biodegradable, long-life hydraulic oil of the lowest water pollution class.
