    Sophisticated mast and extension system

Our decades of experience in lightweight construction mean we manufacture mast and extension systems from an optimum combination of high-strength fine-grain steels and aluminium alloys. You will benefit from the closed mast system, which guarantees maximum stability, torsional rigidity and safety. The energy carrier is installed internally in both the boom and the jib and is protected from external influences or damage.

We also use a tried-and-tested principle for extending the mast, using hydraulic cylinders combined with chains or ropes. This ensures smooth, jerk-free extension even when lifting heavy weights at flat mast positions.

  • Smart and safe crane control

The state-of-the-art Böcker crane control system enables extremely smooth, precise and low-vibration working conditions. It also prevents the load from getting stuck, ensures smooth start-up and precise control of all crane functions. Several functions can be controlled simultaneously during operation, which makes Böcker cranes extremely efficient and intuitive to work with.

Countless software features in the foreground and background ensure user comfort and operational reliability. These include automatic set-up with self-levelling and reach display in live mode, rotation and erection angle restriction, switching between fast and creep speed and the go-home function. The latest generation of control technology also includes independent rope tracking and point-to-point travel.

  • Convenient remote control with colour display

All Böcker truck cranes can be controlled intuitively and easily via radio remote control with a large full-colour graphic display. It visualises all work processes in one operating mode. The user-friendly, clear visualisation of the operating situation is supported by self-explanatory pictograms. The constantly updated reach display enables the crane to be optimally positioned, even during its assembly.

The radio remote control displays sensor values for diagnostics and the fuel or battery level as standard. An optional hook camera with image transfer to the display is available to ensure the operator has the best possible view of the working area. Alternatively, a second crane operator can take over control using a second radio transmitter via transfer control.

Variable outrigger technology for optimised range

With Böcker outrigger technology, each individual outrigger can be extended variably via the radio remote control. A reach preview during outrigger positioning helps the operator to optimise crane set-up. Thanks to the flexible installation and ideal system geometry, every available centimetre is utilised – a decisive advantage in confined spaces.

The practical self-levelling function ensures that the crane can be set up quickly and safely. In addition, electronic monitoring of the outrigger position and automatic release of the safe working area guarantee stability at all times. Thanks to the large outrigger reach, Böcker truck cranes offer the highest possible ground clearance and can overcome even major uneven surfaces.

    Unique design of the a-frame

The model’s uniquely small slewing radius of the a-frame without extendible counterweights means it can be used with outriggers on one side and ongoing road traffic on the other. Böcker cranes support the lifting of loads of all kinds, even in confined spaces in large cities or residential areas.

The transport state of the crane corresponds to its set-up condition. The truck crane does not require any ballasting or conversion after arriving on site and work can be safely started without delay.

  • BöckerConnect smart customer portal

The BöckerConnect digital portal provides you with online information about all relevant data for your networked cranes. It stores the current status, master and performance data as well as statistics on the usage behaviour of each crane. In addition, the current crane position can be viewed at any time and an anti-theft alarm can be configured via geofencing.

The crane has an integrated remote maintenance module for data collection. Continuously transmitted diagnostic data enables differentiated remote maintenance and substantiated technical support from Böcker customer service. The module also offers a fault memory, enables operation simulations and planning via Böcker Liftplanner and includes a weather API.

  • Sophisticated single-motor concept

Böcker truck cranes generally operate without separate auxiliary units. The proven single-motor concept for the truck, crane and platform reduces fuel consumption as well as lowering operating costs and maintenance costs. And this is in addition to the convenient handling: one tank, one fuel, one refuelling process.

The single-motor concept offers maximum reliability and more than enough power reserves in all operating situations. The battery-operated emergency operation guarantees functionality, even if the motor fails. In platform operation, no additional noise is generated by an additional drive unit.

    Powerful and emission-free electric drives

Böcker is focussing on reducing CO2 emissions using electric drives and offers a wide range of alternatives to the combustion engine. Electric drives operate quietly and without emissions, yet are powerful enough that several crane functions can be performed simultaneously.

Most Böcker truck cranes are available as hybrid with a 400 V electric drive in addition to the PTO of the truck. Thanks to adjustable fuse protection (32 A / 63 A), the crane always utilises the maximum available current. The eReady kit prepares the crane for subsequent retrofitting of an electric drive. Alternatively, the AK 37e is available as a hybrid crane with battery and practical 230 V charging technology for household sockets. You can drive and work with the AK 48e using just electricity, using the truck's E-PTO for the electric crane.

    2-in-1 concept with platform technology

Thanks to the Easy-Lock system, all Böcker truck cranes can be quickly converted into a fully-fledged aerial work platform in a few simple steps and without tools. Depending on the application and crane model, you can choose between different access platforms with payloads from 200 to 600 kg. The PK 600-D access platform, which can be hydraulically extended to a width of up to 3.5 m and rotated by 440°, offers maximum flexibility. As the platform can remain attached for manoeuvrability, the work platform can be quickly repositioned.

For maximum working comfort, every Böcker access platform is equipped with automatic levelling and a working power supply as standard. The on-board electrical system is used to generate electricity, eliminating the need for a separate drive motor.

  • Flexible personnel safety with the crane

In addition to the platform mode, the personnel safety mode also considerably expands the possible uses of a Böcker crane. In this operating mode, any truck crane can be used for fall protection when working at height. A securing device is attached to the load hook, which connects the person on the roof to the crane via a wire rope within a certain radius of action.

This feature is ideal for the short-term protection of roofers, carpenters or tradesmen at lofty heights without the time-consuming erection of scaffolding.

Böcker truck cranes – high performance meets compact design

Böcker truck cranes are the ideal solution on construction sites and other locations where a tower crane or conventional mobile crane lacks flexibility. Precise working is guaranteed with maximum flexibility and safety. Whether for roofers, carpenters, crane hire companies, façade construction, in metal construction or for any assembly work - the powerful Böcker crane technology impresses with its long ranges and heights, high payloads and flexible uses. The AK 52, as the most powerful Böcker truck-mounted crane in steel-aluminium design, lifts loads of up to 12 t and has a boom length of 55 m. The AK 52 also sets standards as an aerial work platform in combination with the 600 kg access platform. The AK 36, AK 42 and AK 48, three of the latest generation of truck cranes, impress with their innovative mast geometry, outstanding speed and state-of-the-art control technology. The AK 46 offers a powerful combination of performance, range and efficiency. Mounted on a 26 tonne truck, it opens up an almost circular working area. The AK 37 is our No. 1 in the 7.49 t weight class. Due to its compact design with no overhang of the mast tip and the small slewing radius, this machine is used on countless construction sites. As a hybrid crane with additional electric motor and battery, the AK 37e also impresses with its simple 230 V charging technology for household sockets.

As a pioneer in the field of aluminium cranes, Böcker still uses this durable and lightweight construction material in combination with high-strength fine-grained steel. All truck-mounted cranes can be supplemented with practical accessories such as roof tile clamps or tipping baskets. The Easy-Lock system allows an access platform to be quickly attached in next to no time and the crane to be converted into an aerial work platform.
