First place for the Böcker AK 48e electric truck crane! In the 2026 Product of the Year reader poll conducted by buildingnet.de, dachbaumagazin, and mikado, the battery-powered truck crane received the most votes in the “Construction Site, Workshop, Occupational Safety” category.
The AK 48e combines the advantages of electric crane operation with the proven mobility of a carrier vehicle that relies on a separate combustion engine for travel to the job site. Powerful, quiet, and emission-free, the electric crane demonstrates how modern crane technology simplifies daily work on the construction site. It impresses with its highly efficient electric drives, electric winch, energy recovery, and a 30 kWh battery. It is a true endurance performer, designed for a full workday without a power connection or an average operating time of more than eight hours. Short charging times and charging options via 230 V or 400 V, and in the future even at a wallbox, increase flexibility.
The award confirms that the AK 48e meets the needs of modern construction sites. It combines sustainable, electric crane operation with high power, payloads up to 3 t (opt. up to 6 t), and boom lengths up to 49 m (opt. up to 52 m). With this, Böcker is sending a strong signal for future-oriented crane technology.
Congratulations to the entire Böcker team and many thanks to everyone who voted for the AK 48e!
