Full of energy, lightning-fast and whisper-quiet

The new generation of the AHK 36e electric trailer crane is a real marvel of efficiency! Perfect for anyone who wants to work continuously on battery power throughout the entire working day without needing to recharge. The electric crane is impressively quiet and faster than any other trailer crane before it.

The crane’s extremely low energy consumption, combined with a powerful battery capacity of 12.2 kWh, ensures sustained operation without the need for a mains power connection. Thanks to a pioneering drive concept with high efficiency and a completely newly developed electric winch, the AHK 36e not only requires very little energy. It also recovers this energy when lowering the load via the rope winch and feeds it back into the battery. The electric winch also enables impressive rope speeds of up to 100 m/min, making the lifting of loads even faster and more efficient. After work or during operation, the unit can be conveniently charged using a standard 230 V domestic socket. If there is insufficient Protection on site, the charging power can be reduced as required. If necessary, the boost function also increases the charging speed.

A full working day, independent of the mains supply

During the roof renovation of an old farmhouse, the new AHK 36e with electric winch impressed the team at M. Höfges Bedachungen in Issum. In no time at all, the electric crane hoisted the roof boards and battens into place for the reconstruction of the pitched roof. The three-hour operation was powered entirely by the crane’s battery, including manoeuvring, set-up and dismantling. At the end of the job, the remaining charge was still at 70 per cent. Despite the freezing temperatures close to the freezing point, the lithium-ion battery technology delivered reliable performance with stable charging and discharging behaviour. As well as the battery’s impressive range, the roofers particularly praised the new AHK 36e’s pleasantly quiet operation, precise handling and very fast working speed.

Manoeuvring to the installation site in the house’s courtyard, erecting the crane, levelling the outriggers and raising the mast required a total of just 8 per cent of the battery charge. The AHK 36e then carries out up to 140 routine lifting operations without the battery needing to be recharged. With a battery life of more than 10 hours in normal use, the electric crane can operate flexibly and independently on the building site throughout the day.

Powerful performance in every respect

The new electric AHK 36e is not only independent of the mains supply, it also offers all the familiar advantages of Böcker’s most powerful trailer crane. Thanks to its state-of-the-art mast system, it achieves boom lengths of up to 34 m (opt. 36 m) and lifts loads of up to 1,000 kg (opt. 1,500 kg) with a gross vehicle weight of just 3.5 t. Even with a suspended load of up to 1,000 kg, the boom can extend to its full length. The standard tandem axle on Böcker trailer cranes ensures a smooth ride on the road and safe manoeuvring on the construction site. The manoeuvring drive also benefits from the new drive concept, and the crane can now manoeuvre even more nimbly into its operating position. The familiar swivel drawbar significantly reduces the footprint.

Furthermore, the AHK 36 features a large outrigger lift with a ground clearance of up to 50 cm. The flexible outrigger system, with variable positioning of each individual folding and swivelling outrigger, allows for many different set-up configurations. This makes setting up the crane next to obstacles and on slopes a breeze. In Issum, the crane was set up in the courtyard of the house between three trees, saving space whilst optimising its reach.

Thanks to the AHK 36e’s new drive concept, it is not only the winch that impresses with its high rope speeds. The crane’s other functions, such as slewing and lifting the mast as well as telescoping, can also be controlled simultaneously at high speed. The mast’s swivel range is virtually unlimited.

The innovative crane control system, combined with the radio remote control, assists the operator and enables precise and intuitive operation of the trailer crane. Numerous software functions ensure great ease of use and maximum operational safety. Both setting up and dismantling can be controlled automatically via the radio remote control. For repair and maintenance work, the AHK 36e can also be converted in a very short time into an aerial work platform with a working height of up to 29 m.
