New crane, new lift and sustainable battery technology

At DACH+HOLZ International from 5-8 March 2024 in Stuttgart (DE), the focus will be on sustainable innovations for the timber and roofing industry. Böcker will be presenting lifting technology for emission-free and low-noise operation on the construction site at Stand 8/307 in Hall 8 and in the outdoor area FG7/1. Visitors can not only look forward to a wide range of new developments with powerful electric motors, optimised energy efficiency and extended battery capacity. They can also anticipate a new truck crane and inclined lift.

Spot-on in terms of performance:
New-generation compact truck crane expands portfolio

As numerous as the trades at DACH+HOLZ are, as diverse are their demands on the performance range of crane technology. In addition to the AK 42 and the AK 48, Böcker is therefore launching a third new-generation mobile crane. As the most compact crane in the series, it combines a slim design with all the advantages of innovative mast geometry, an enormous working speed and the latest control technology. Furthermore it there is no room for compromises when it comes to crane performance. Böcker is also introducing a new personnel basket.

Power supply from household socket

With a focus on sustainable product development, Böcker will also be showcasing the AHK 36e electric trailer crane, which impresses with its 230 V charging technology and integrated lithium-ion battery. It charges at any conventional household socket - in innovative parallel mode directly during crane operation. If required, the motor is supplied with the necessary electrical power from the battery. At the trade fair, the AHK 36e impresses with an extended battery capacity and a pioneering drive concept with higher efficiency, so that the crane requires significantly less energy. At the same time, the AHK 36e offers proven performance and achieves extension lengths of up to 36 m with a permissible total weight of just 3.5 tonnes. It is equipped with foldable swivelling outrigger, automatic levelling, rotation and erection angle restriction of the mast package and a go-home function.

New Junior 18 inclined lift

For fast, effortless material transport a new version of the Junior construction lift will also be on display at the top meeting place for roofers, carpenters and tinsmiths. It offers comprehensive equipment options, such as the electro-hydraulic remote control, the attachment of a knee joint and the rail extension onto the roof at the best price-performance ratio. The new Junior 18 has the proven rail package, while its chassis is very compact with four plug-in crank outriggers. This means that it only requires a small  footprint of 5.25 m2. At the same time, it transports loads of up to 250 kg comfortably upwards with an extension length of up to 18 metres. It is powered either by a petrol engine with an electric starter as standard or emission-free via a 230 V electric motor. Thanks to its low gross vehicle weight of 750 kg, the trailer can be towed to the construction site using a car and a class B driving licence.

Top-Lift construction lift with solar platform

As a particularly lightweight transport solution for any construction project, Böcker is also exhibiting the electric Top-Lift construction lift, which can be used flexibly thanks to a wide variety of load handling devices. In combination with a solar platform, it brings solar modules onto the roof in the shortest possible time. This saves valuable time for the installation, cabling and connection of the system. The solar platform can be easily attached to the carriage of the modular plug-in ladder lift. Rubber pads protect against damage, while the clamping device ensures that the panels are securely fastened.

Electric cranes on outdoor exhibition grounds

Open air on the Böcker stand FG7/1, the AK 48 truck crane invites visitors to take a ride above the exhibition centre. As a work platform, it is designed for large loads of up to 600 kg and reaches breathtaking working heights of up to 48 metres. In crane mode, the AK 48 lifts payloads of up to 3 t (opt. 6 t) and offers extension lengths of over 48 m (opt. 52). With a reach of 28.5 m at 1 t, loads not only reach far, but also up to 31 m high. The 14 m jib, which can be telescoped fully hydraulically with attached load via colour radio control, can carry a weight of up to one tonne even in the horizontal and extended position. The powerful hydraulic system ensures rapid crane erection and a high working speed. The extremely stable mast system enables a pioneering mast geometry with vertically erectable mast, tower crane function and 180° jib position. The AK 48 offers a wide range of drive technology options. It is available as a fully electric version with E-PTO, as a hybrid crane or with a conventional PTO combustion engine.

The AK 48 shares its outdoor space with two other truck cranes, the AK 42 and the AK 37e, which is the first mobile truck crane to charge from a 230 V socket. At the trade fair it features an extended battery capacity. The AHK 30 KS as a hybrid crane completes the line-up and is equipped with a removable 230 V electric motor and battery for the first time.
