Whether for glass assembly, hall construction or roofing work, Hüffermann's customers will in future be able to choose from an even wider range for their construction site. With their state-of-the-art mast system, the two new AHK 36 trailer cranes achieve extension lengths of up to 36 m and lift loads of up to 2,400 kg. Mounted on a tandem chassis and with a permissible total weight of only 3.5 t, they can be flexibly transported to any site by car. Thanks to the self-propelled drive, multiflex support with up to 256 different support positions, fully variable support control, auto-levelling and automatic dismantling function, they can be assembled and dismantled quickly and in a space-saving manner. The swivelling and folding props can not only be optimally positioned to the load, they can also be swivelled past or over obstacles.
The new trailer cranes not only offer strong performance values, thanks to their equipment with personnel safety mode and hook camera, the application possibilities for rental customers are expanded. In the personal safety mode, the cranes can also be used for fall protection of persons working at height. Within a radius of action, the person is connected to the load hook via a wire rope and a safety device. Further cost-intensive safety measures and structures, such as scaffolding, are not required. A great advantage especially for shorter repair or inspection work.
During crane operation, the hook camera allows the operator to keep a close eye on areas that are difficult to see and to move the attached load safely and precisely. The camera at the top of the mast transmits the image to the colour display of the radio control and considerably enlarges the visible working area.
The managing partner of the Hüffermann Group Daniel Janssen is pleased about the reinforcement of his rental fleet: "We are convinced of the quality and reliability of the cranes made by Böcker.
