In the future the production, administration and Germany-wide branches will be supplied exclusively with green electricity by the energy supplier. The green electricity is generated in a climate-friendly and CO2-neutral manner via wind turbines, solar, biomass and hydropower plants. By changing its energy supply, Böcker saves 542,885 kg of CO2 annually compared to the German electricity mix, reduces its ecological footprint and actively supports the energy transition.
Green electricity as contribution to climate protection
Since 1st of March 2022 Böcker obtains 100% of its electricity from renewable energies making important contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
