Instead of plastic cups, the machines pour the hot drinks in environmentally friendly paper cups. These cups are made entirely of plant-based, renewable raw materials that come from sustainably managed forests. Alternatively, employees can use their own reusable containers for filling so waste can be avoided completely. The Böcker thermo cups, which every employee has received as a Christmas present, are ideally suited for this purpose. The cold drinks machines are equipped with 0.5 litre PET bottles for which a returnable deposit is charged. These bottles can be exchanged at any beverage market.
New beverage dispensers minimises waste
Another green future investment are the new beverage dispensers in the break rooms of the factory halls, which save up to 40 % of waste.
