Already eight trailer cranes AHK 30 KS, four trailer cranes AHK 36 and one truck crane AK 37 are in use at Hüffermann Krandienst GmbH. Now Hüffermann expands its rental fleet significantly and orders another 30 Böcker trailer cranes. The contracts were already negotiated before the bauma 2022 in Munich and signed during the fair. The first cranes of the large order are expected to leave the production site in Werne for Wildeshausen later this year.
Half of the considerable order placed by the rental company comprises trailer cranes of the AHK 30 KS and AHK 36 models. In combination with glass suction systems, the cranes are mainly rented out for glass assembly, but also for hall construction or roof work. With this new order, Hüffermann is significantly increasing availability for its customers. "This also includes the trailer crane sector. Here, Böcker has created a noteworthy market and is firmly integrated in our product portfolio," says managing partner Daniel Janssen.
With their state-of-the-art mast system, the new AHK 36 trailer cranes achieve extension lengths of up to 36 m and lift loads of up to 2,400 kg. Mounted on a tandem chassis and with a permissible total weight of only 3.5 t, they can be flexibly transported to any site by car.Thanks to their self-propelled drive, extremely variable outriggers with up to 256 different outrigger positions, auto levelling and automatic dismantling function, they can be assembled and disassembled quickly and in a space-saving manner.The foldable swivelling outriggers can not only be optimally positioned in relation to the load, they can also be slewed past or over obstacles. During crane operation, the hook camera allows the operator to keep a close eye on areas that are difficult to see and to move the attached load safely and precisely. The camera at the top of the mast transmits the image to the color display of the radio control system and considerably enlarges the visible working area.
Just like the AHK 36, the trailer crane AHK 30 KS also offers Hüffermann's rental customers an attractive overall package of performance, flexible and fast assembly and high operational reliability. The strong all-rounder lifts payloads of up to 1,500 kg, reaches extension lengths of up to 30 m and achieves a reach of 21 m with a 250 kg load. It adapts optimally to the conditions on site at a wide variety of construction sites. Its foldable swivelling outriggers can be set up independently at different angles and also overcome uneven ground or obstacles of up to 50 cm. The range indicator on the radio remote control display allows the crane to be optimally positioned, making the best possible and safe use of even confined installation areas. The chassis with tandem axle and space-saving swivel drawbar ensures very good manoeuvrability and optimum ground-load distribution. The powerful manoeuvring drive and the support can be conveniently controlled by radio remote control. An auto-levelling system for rapid and safe erection of the crane and an automatic dismantling function are also part of the standard equipment.
