At the end of July, Böcker delivered a 26-metric-ton-class truck crane to HBV Arbeitsbühnen Vermietung GmbH in Feldkirchen—the first of its kind in Austria. The company is a partner in the SYSTEM LIFT rental network and is expanding its fleet with an AK 48 truck crane on a Scania chassis. With its high performance and versatile applications, the crane is suitable for demanding lifting tasks involving loads of up to 6 metric tons and, during platform operation, for assembly and repair work at working heights of up to 45.7 meters.
The handover underscores the growing demand for high-performance yet cost-effective solutions for lifting technology in Austria. The AK 48 impresses rental companies and users alike with its range, high payload capacity, and tremendous flexibility across a wide variety of construction sites, enabling high utilization rates and ensuring a quick return on investment.
The equipment has been specifically tailored for the safe and versatile rental of the AK 48 as both a crane and an aerial work platform. Extensive LED lighting, including rotating beacons, perimeter lighting, and work and backup lights, improves visibility and enhances safety on the job site—even during operations in the early morning or late evening hours. The Böcker Connect digital portal also provides online functions for fleet management, remote monitoring, and service, allowing for efficient management and monitoring of operating times. The equipment is complemented by a wide range of accessories, such as the PK 350-D rotating access platform, roof tile clamps, a tipping basket, and a pallet fork. This allows the truck crane to be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of transport and assembly tasks, offering rental customers significant added value in daily use.
At the same time, Böcker is further expanding its sales structure in Austria. Effective immediately, SKY GO Hebebühnen GmbH, based in Göming near Salzburg, will take over as the new sales partner responsible for serving customers in Central Austria. This regional presence is intended to further strengthen consulting, sales, and service and to provide direct on-site support to customers.
